Experiment-49 :- Identify The Types Of Output Connector Of SMPS

 Aim :-  TO Remove SMPS From Cabinet And Identify The  Types  Of Output   Connector Of SMPS

Requirements

• SMPS AT, ATX Type          - 01  Each                 SMPS At, Atx Type  
• Trainee Tool Kit
• Anti Static Mat 
• SMPS 
• Mother Board Manuals
• Plastic Box

Procedure

Step :- 01

• Switch Off The Power Supply And Remove The  Slide Doors of Cabinet    
• Remove  The Supply Cable from All Components e.g. HDD, FDD Etc.
• Disconnect the Power Cable from  Processer Fan And Power Cabinet.

 

• Remove  The SMPS From Cabinet Of PC By Unscrewing  it and put of all the screw in Plastic Container Box.
• Now, Carefully Remove SMPS from case and  Locate the label pasted on the SMPS and Note Down The Specifications.

Step :- 2

Identification -  The Power Connector Of SMPS 

•  Pick One of The Labelled SMPS and record Its Label In The record Sheet.

•  Pick One Of The Labelled Connectors And Identify its Name And The Use, Referring To The Lesson. Record The Same  In The Record Sheet.

• Repeat Step 2 For Other Connectors.
• Get  The Work Checked By Your Instructor,
• Repeat Steps 1 to 4 For The  Other SMPS.

Conclusion :- Trainee Will  Identify  SMPS's  Internal  Major   Sections  And Components And  

                            Safely  Remove / Assemble  A SMPS Using Safe Lab Procedure.
